Meat, cheese, dips, vegetables, or salty snacks, this beautiful serving board can showcase all kinds of food! This Wood Works serving board is made of sustainably sourced Longan wood. The Longan tree is a fruit tree which, when it stops producing fruit, is normally only processed into firewood. Instead, we turn them into beautiful serving platters. They are sawn from a single piece of wood and are therefore extremely strong, compared with wood that is glued together. Both sides of the serving boards can be used and they have two milled handles. The sawmill has already applied two coats of Tung oil to each serving board. This drying, protective oil is completely food safe and makes the serving boards water repellent. Skottsberg Tung oil is also available separately so that you can properly maintain the serving board for a lifetime of use. This Wood Works serving board is 80 x 25 x 3 cm.
