The Skottsberg cutting board is made of special European FSC beech wood. It is the perfect type of wood to enjoy cutting on without blunting your knife. Besides, did you know that a wooden cutting board is much more hygienic than a plastic one? Because the natural tannin in the wood kills bacteria. And FSC beech wood contains another extreme amount of this bactericidal substance. We made this board by gluing head-sawn pieces of wood together, giving the board a self-healing ability and making scratches on your board almost non-existent. strong, so with proper use it will last a lifetime.

As the cutting board is oiled with two layers of Skottsberg Tung oil, all pores of the wood are filled,
preventing bacteria, dirt and moisture from penetrating. As a result, the board is optimally
