Villa Styles lamps are made from 90% recycled cotton pulp and 10% binder. Papier-mâché is a lightweight material, and for these lamps, it is made from a mixture of soaked cotton mass and a binder. The mass is shaped by hand into decorative lamps, which means that no two lamps are exactly alike. Then, the lamps are dried and given a protective coating. Using papier-mâché as a material for lamps and other decor objects makes it possible to create a multitude of beautiful shapes and to achieve a very special handmade and rustic look that truly stands out. The coloured papier-mâché lamps from Villa Styles spread colour, joy and light in the home. The lamps are GRS certified. The Global Recycle Standard (GRS) is a certification standard for products made with recycled content. GRS certification verifies that a product contains at least 20% recycled material and that it meets certain social and environmental criteria.
